NAIMUN Southeast Asia 2019 is recruiting Assistant Chairpersons to staff the conference this June in Bangkok. Assistant Chairpersons serve a crucial function in committee sessions, as Crisis Analysts in the Crisis committees, or as Rapporteurs in General Assemblies. Crisis Analysts would respond to crisis notes from delegates and developing crisis updates, whereas Rapporteurs will assist Chairpersons in managing debate.

Besides NAIMUN Southeast Asia 2019, the Georgetown International Relations Association will also be organising the inaugural edition of the National Collegiate Security Conference (NCSC) in Singapore, from June 1-3, 2019. This Model United Nations conference will feature 4 Crisis Committees and 2 General Assembly councils. More information on the conference is available at:

Assistant Chairperson recruitment for both conferences will be held concurrently. Applicants can indicate their interest in staffing either or both conferences. This chairing stint will provide you with an opportunity to work with one of the most established Crisis simulations and Model United Nations conferences in the United States with over 40 years of history.
