  1. “How do I register?”

  2. “When does registration close?”

    Regular registrations close on April 28, 2019. Delegates may still register under the Late registration round from April 29 to May 12, 2019. However, committee allocations in the late round are given on a rolling basis once payment has been received. This means that delegates registering in this round may not be able to secure their preferred committees in the event that they are full.

  3. “What is included in the delegate fee?”

    The delegate fee includes:

    -    Participation at the conference,

    -    Access to conference venues,

    -    Placards, participation certificates,

    -    Entrance to all social events, including the farewell dinner,

    -    Entrance to the Georgetown University information session,

    The delegate fee does NOT include:

    -   Accommodations,

    -   Travel expenses coming to the conference,

    - Everything else.

  4. “What is the requirement to participate at this conference?”

    This conference is open to all participants currently enrolled in high schools, junior colleges, polytechnics and universities! If you are not enrolled in school, you can participate in this conference as long as you are between 15 and 25 years old.

  5. “Is previous experience required to participate at this conference as a delegate?”

    Previous experience in Model United Nations and crisis simulations is not required! We welcome delegates who are attending NAIMUN SEA as their first conference, as well as experienced veterans in the circuit.

  6. “What is the official language of the conference?”

    The official language at NCSC Singapore/ NAIMUN SEA will be English.

  7. “Is there a dress code?”

    Delegates are required to be in formal business attire for the conference.

  8. “Are accommodations provided?”

    Unfortunately, accommodations are not provided at NAIMUN SEA 2019. However, a variety of options is available in Bangkok.

  9.  “Are we allowed to choose our preferred councils?”

    Yes, all delegates are allowed to choose up to three out of six committees. In addition, we have also opened a “veto option”, where delegates can choose one committee they do not want to be assigned to in the unfortunate event that all three committees selected are full.

  10. “Are teachers & faculty allowed to come?”

    Teachers and Faculty advisors are very welcome to attend our conferences. They cannot participate inside committee discussions but are allowed to sit and watch in the different councils and are very welcome to give advice and share ideas with the delegates.   11. “Are there any activities besides the formal council meetings?”

    Yes! We have one optional city tour on Saturday morning, an information session on studying at Georgetown University, and one farewell dinner at the closing ceremony.

  12. “Is there a minimum attendance criteria that delegates have to meet for awards and to earn a certificate of participation?”

    Yes, delegates are required to attend at least 80% of the total number of council sessions to qualify for awards and certificates of participation.

  13. “What is the Cancellation / Refund Policy?”

    We do not offer refunds once payment is made.
